This Indian Roadmaster is the full dresser, full touring version by Indian. Comparable to the Harley Electra Glide but better in almost every way. From ride comfort to things such as central locking saddlebags. All the complaints Harley riders have about the Electra Glide have been heard and answered in the Roadmaster. The 111-Thunderstroke engine performs better and is more responsive, the riding position is better for both driver and passenger and the suspension more refined. Add a million options to the stock version such as electric windshield and an incredible sound system that allows you to actually hear the speakers at 80mph. Passenger arm rests and heated seats come standard.

How nice is a Roadmaster to ride long distance….well this one shows you 50K miles is done in no time. This bike has some small blemishes but is overall a great condition bike for 50K miles and a testament to the durability of Indian’s Thunderstroke engine. The 2018 is still equipped with the traditional looking front fender that easily identifies this bike as the classic Indian.

The oldest motorcycle company in the US is not as most people believe Harley Davidson but Indian Motorcycle Company. Founded in 1901 two years before Harley they have been making classic iconic motorcycles for decades. During WWII the company was an essential supplier of motorcycles to the US military and after the war struggled in making the transition back to the civilian market. Their operation came to an end in the early 50s. Now owned and operated by Polaris it is finally back to what the original glory days looked like….the best domestic motorcycle company in the US!
