I have a 2015 Heritage Classic that was purchased new in March of this year from our local Harley dealership.
The purpose of this bike was to take a very long trip on which I did thus the higher mileage on a new bike.
This bike has the 5 year extended warranty along with road hazard on tires and also received the paint and leather treatment with warranty as well. Both of these together are a $2,500.00 addition.
This bike would qualify for a Harley financing if you would like to ask our local dealer or your dealer to handle that.
Additions to stock bike:
HD engine guard
HD engine guard chaps
HD rear sissy bar rack with light
HD headlight Chrome eyebrows
HD Rear Taillight Chrome cover
HD windshield bag
Clearview products wider and taller King Windshield
LED lights for headlight and spot light (very bright)
Tail and Turn lights from Custom Dynamics added by dealership.
Exhaust: I added the Arlen Ness Big Sucker, had the bike Dyno-Tuned, added the Vance and Hines Big Shots long and have the quiet baffles in the bike. You get the stock baffles as well.
At this time I do have an option of Rinehart long shots available however they are not on the bike as I found them to be tool loud but it did run wonderfully.
The V&H pipes also run out very nice and all work was done by our dealership.
I rode this on a trip to California which put 5600 miles on the bike in just 22 days. As you can see, I ride. In 7 months I've logged 12K miles. Not bad.
I had the service done at dealerships for 5,000 miles and 10,000 miles and oil changes in between.
Also, note that at 10,000 miles I did have new tires put on the bike along with tubes, valve stems, etc.
I then rode the bike 1000 miles and had the rear tire go flat.
My warranty covered it and this now has a new rear tire.
So, you will get a bike with a new tire up front about 1,000 miles ago and a new tire on the rear with less than 200 miles on it.
I have bag liners for the leather saddle bags which allow you to take out this tote and carry into your hotel room without having to dig all of your goodies out of the bag.
Also, I have added the Saggy Bags system to the leather saddle bags which makes them stay firm and stand up nice and proud.
This bike effectively looks as good as it can and not being on the show room floor.
Our local dealership can give you an over all condition if you would like over the phone as I'm sure they would be willing to do that.
I cannot haul the bike via an enclosed trailer however I do have a great way of hauling on a flatbed with a Condor wheel chock and would be willing to assist in delivering this bike given we work that out ahead of time and you pay me for this service. The bike would need to be paid for in full prior to me doing so and you would need to cover insurance on this move. I'm not a professional hauler of bikes.
Please note I have photos of the stock pipes (run for 10,000 miles) and the Rineharts (run about 1,000 miles) and nothing on the V&H but they look just like the Rineharts without the black rings on the end. I can post photos of these soon. You get what's on the bike (V&H) and stockers.
If you are interested in owning both the pipes that are on the bike which are the Vance and Hines and also the Rineharts I have in a box, let me know and we can discuss but there is an additional charge for these Rineharts and I'm needing $450.00 cash.
If you want to send me a deposit of $500.00 that is non-refundable I'll pay the bike off which is financed through my local credit union and have the title in 24 hours.
We will then need to have full payment before the bike can be transferred to you.
If you buy through Harley credit perhaps our local dealership would be willing to assist you.
By the way, I don't power wash a bike in a care wash, just clear rinse at low pressure but wanted to show you a recent photo and how nice this bike looks and the big chrome pipes.
Rineharts are a bit different but not much in looks. The V&H are longer and have a different bend up front, will post a photo later today of those however they are very similar.
This bike has been ridden in the rain about 5 days or less and only one was a soaker.
Riding a bike in the rain is reality and not something to brag about when you have never gotten a bike wet. So many state "never in the rain" and that's bogus. If you ride, you get wet, end of story. Fact is if that bike doesn't perform in the rain you want to know about it, right?
This bike runs as well in the rain as it does out of the rain.
Harley's are drop dead dependable bikes and if you are looking for the first time at a Harley and a Heritage I can tell you there isn't much else out there that is as nice a running and comfortable of a bike. You won't be disappointed with a Harley Softail. Very comfortable, very powerful and all day riding capability.
