2013 Triumph Trophy SE with under 770 miles on the clock.
I injured my back short months after purchasing the bike, which prevented riding. Though I can ride again now, anything longer than 30 minutes or so has bad results, and I finally have to admit that this bike is wasted on me.
If you're interested in a like-new Trophy SE for about $7,000 less than a new one, this could be the bike for you.The Trophy SE is a top-class sport tourer. These reviews (and others like them) explain better than I could:
"Practically everything that is adjustable on the Trophy can be configured using the designated buttons on the left handlebar switchpod in conjunction with the LCD information screen between the tach and speedo. This includes the screen display itself, which provides more information than those of any other motorcycle currently on the market and can be quickly set up to display the specific info you want in a choice of locations on the screen."" - Cycle World
"Get going too fast on the 2013 Triumph Trophy SE and the linked ABS brakes are magic. Squeeze the front brake-which isn't grabby, though it is surprisingly strong for a tourer-and three of the four front calipers grip the twin front discs. Touch the rear brake lightly, and only the rear disc is used. Push harder on the rear brake pedal and pressure-moderated by a Proportion Control Valve-sends some hydraulic fluid to the fourth front caliper." - Ultimate Motorcycling
"Like the Explorer, there's gobs of torque from basement to roof top. A handful of throttle at 35 mph in sixth gear generates forward thrust without a shudder or knock. Reserve amounts of torque are abundant no matter the speed or gear, the drawback being the omission of a horsepower rush of acceleration. But easy to manipulate power wherever and whenever you want, the Trophy delivers in spades." - Motorcycle.com
"Designed with obsessive attention to detail, the 1215cc 3-cylinder shaft drive Trophy SE gives you the torque, performance and handling for a sublime riding experience. With the Trophy SE, electronically adjustable suspension and a sophisticated audio system comes as standard." - TopSpeed
"This is not just a terrific sport-touring motorcycle--although, yes, it is that. There's more to it. The 2013 Trophy stands as the latest example of Triumph's fortitude, a brave display of engineering moxie and marketing chutzpah." - Motorcyclist Online
