The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

A beautiful well kept example of a XL1200 with the 1200cc Sportster motor and low mileage. Just under 10K miles, this clean example is a true find. Painted in vivid black with lots of chrome features and the 21in front wheel make this bike stand out and show like a new Sporty.

The 1200 motor is running strong and has plenty of power to move this 500Lbs bike forward.

Condition tells a lot!

This is one of the last bikes produced with a carbureted Harley Davidson engine. In 2006 most of them already were fuel injected and a year later they all were delivered fuel injected. A true find in this condition and this setup.
