2005 American Ironhorse “Texas Chopper”
Motor: 1,810cc (111ci) S&S
Frame: Chopper
Transmission: 6-speed
Mileage: unknown EXEMPT
Stock: 05AI51
This bike was taken apart when it was running and had been intended to be repainted but the project was abandoned a while back. All parts are believed to be in the boxes. As per the photos you can see the frame is purple and the tins have been painted black but are not well done and really need to be re-painted. The motor is a 111ci S&S motor with a 6-speed transmission and open primary. We did not lay out the parts in the boxes but were told everything is here. Assume certain bolts will be missing and need to be relaced. There are chrome defects on some parts as is typical with these bikes unfortunately. Replace them or repaint them.
This is a great project bike for someone knowledgeable who wants to work over the winter and ride in the spring with a fresh new bike. Shipping will be in parts and pieces and we would prefer someone come and pick up him/herself. Our regular shipping quotes do not apply to this bike! This would have to be freight shipped.

About Choppers:
In the early 90s Harley Davidson has problems with keeping up with production. Plagued by years of poorly build bikes and not being able to fill increasing demand clones of Harleys built with custom frames and S&S motors kept popping up. In the mid 90s the first larger production custom chopper companies emerged from the “clones” and the new chopper craze started. Some companies made it big such as Big Dog Choppers, Ironworks and American Ironhorse Texas Choppers.
American Ironhorse at one point in the early 2000s had a 200,000 square foot production facility and producing a 7-frame lineup. Along with all the other Chopper companies of that era they filed for bankruptcy in 2008 as the world headed into a recession.
Fixed Price Dealer:
Instead of letting you negotiate to get a good price we price the bike right from the get-go. We do not negotiate prices, we make the buying process as easy as possible. No negotiating, no hidden fees, no BS and no sales-pitch! There is no up-selling, no warranties sold, no tire rotating fees.
Contract looks like this: price of the bike and if you are in Florida we are required to collect sales tax and actual cost of registration. That’s it!
