The Sportster has been the most recognized small Harley even though it really is a rather heavy bike for what is considered “Entry Level”. Not surprising some Harley riders with bigger bikes add a Sportster to their own garage for the quick run-around trip without bringing out the “big gun”. It is heavy enough to ride solid yet agile enough to just fling it around. Loved by shorter and female riders for its easy handling and loved by big guys for the power/weight ratio.

The Sportster is offered in two power units. The traditional 883 engine and the 1200 engine. Both are equally interesting bikes with tons of options by aftermarket manufacturers to customize this bike from head to toe for small money.

This is a 2003 100-Year Anniversary edition with the proper Anniversary tins on the bike. It is in beautiful condition showing only minor signs of wear and has only 4K miles on the odometer, which can be believed to be correct. Tires are in good condition. The motor runs perfect and all this bike needs right now is a new rider.

The 100-year anniversary bikes are getting rarer to find in good condition and as such are becoming the collectibles of the Harley lineup. 20-years old, they soon qualify for Vintage status. Not a bad investment and you get to ride it if you want, try that with your stock portfolio.
