Custom 1974 Harley Davidson Shovel Head 88. This bike is a complete head turner. The motor and frame have matching numbers. All in all the bike is in great condition. The bike is electric over kick. It will kick start, but it has a lot of compression, so you will need to have some weight behind you to kick this hog over. The bike has a NEW Rev Tech 4 speed tranny in it (2 years old), just had the top end completely freshened up (Feb 2012). Work performed on top end: Disassembled top end, replaced all valve guides and reamed to size, reconditioned all 4 valves (3 angel valve job), set valve spring install height, decarboned pistons while installing new rings and honed cylinders, installed chrome rocker box, installed new rocker arm and shafts, bead blasted both heads and exterior of cylinders, painted cylinders semi gloss high heat black, installed new comp cam #4011, replaced tappett rollers, new rear brake pad, new head light beam, rear brake arm re-chromed, and new electronic ignition module. This bike has dual head spark plugs, an 2 high intensity dual fire coils. Pipes just got ceramic coated chrome with 1800 degree heat shield. ALL work performed by local HD dealer. Put the 1000 mile break in on the motor. Mileage shown on bike is since I had the tranny installed, primary work done, and top end work done. I have copies of all the service records. This bike cranks and runs GREAT!! No issues on this bike as it is ready to ride. No leans and clean title.
