Up for sale is a beautiful and rare 1951 Indian Chief. With about 1500 miles on a complete rebuild around 5 years ago. This includes complete top and bottom engine rebuild using Kiwi pistons, new oil pump , all new transmission gears, and modern Kiwi Kevlar clutch. The two tone paint was done in a modern two stage . It starts and runs great and is a pleasure to ride. This bike draws a crowd everywhere I ride it. It was built to be ridden and is not a show bike. Close inspection will reveal some flaws, but you can see from the pictures that it looks very nice. The speedometer was left original and works but is not accurate. the odometer does not work which is why I said "about" on the miles on the engine. The engine is a 1953 model so the frame and engine numbers do not match. It is priced for a quick sale & very fairly based on others near this model that I have seen for sale.
